My hair has been constantly miniaturizing all over ever since taking Dutasteride

@BT20

Why do you recommend oral Minoxidil, as opposed to topical?

I would think topical Minoxidil has less side effects. Am I wrong?

In the United States topical Minoxidil doesn't require a prescription. They sell it at all pharmacies.
Because the user said he used topical minoxidil and did not stop the miniaturization of his hairs.

And judging the state of his hairs now the best option he can do is to change course and try different methods. Maybe he will be lucky and one of those methods really works for him.

who knows?

yes topical minoxidil has less side effects.

Mr. Slap Head is obviously selling that.

He has multiple users on this board, including you (more than likely).

He such a fake piece of sh*t. It's so obvious.

It seems like you're also full of sh*t. Maybe your his alternate user id.

He gives stupid advice, so I'm sure he has another user id just to give him thumbs up.

Are you sure it wasn’t oral minoxidil that caused the reversal, rather than quitting dutasteride? You began taking it around the same time you stopped dutasteride, didn’t you?
I am certain it was not oral minoxidil on itself, as in the last year I got trichoscopy evaluations every few months and each time vellus% and hair diameter slowly improved back. To my knowledge minoxidil only helps elongate the anagen phase of hair by improving circulation, it does not restores the caliber of miniaturized hair

Which shampoos do you use? Did your scalp inflammation get better after dropping dutasteride and switching to finasteride?

Nizoral (ketoconazole) 1x a week (because I also have a tendency for sebborrhea on top of MBP :() and hell yes, Dutasteride made my scalp very dry & itchy, on finasteride it’s normal.
