I am 28 years old. I started losing my hair about 2 years ago. At the time i gained a lot of weight because i just quit smokin. So i noticed my hair thinnning slighly i though it was no big deal and it was normal and once i lost my weight i would have thicker stronger hair. Well this year i lost my weight and my hair keeps thinning and falling out. I already went to the doctor got a blood test nothing is medically wrong. Week by week i can see more hair falling out. Now to be honest if i lose my hair 5 years from now i wont care. I went to Medical hair restoration a month ago and started that Laser treatment to behonesst i have a feeling that it will not work but i already spent the money. I am also taking Saw Palmetto, Biotion, Fish oil and a daily multi Viatimin I am also using nizorol shampoo . Now I see people use rogaine i have not started this because i will not put it on 2 times a day and i blow dry may hair in the morning to hide the fact that i am balding. Now i went to a doctor he told me rogain and propecia only help regrow hair on the top of the head but a lot of people on here use it when they are losing hair down front.

I am really looking for a regiment that will help me keep my hair until i am in my thirties. Also I would like to know if any of you guys use rogaine once a day and had good results with it Or just any advice that will help

All you can do is use minoxidil and propecia, these treatments work to the hairline too. During the fda trials they were both tested on the vertex, so the companies cannot claim that treatments work on the frontal region. Take a look at the success stories forum to give you an idea what kind of success you should expect.

Rogaine once a day is better than not using it at all, but not as good as twice. You can use the foam at mornings instead of the liquid. It's not that greasy and messy.

You should know that you need to take these medications as long as you want to keep the results you may have. Keep your expactations low, be consistent with applications, and take monthly photos of your hair to evaluate progress.

That's all dude, good luck.

Your just suffering from M.P.B. Its natural there is no specific cause its just genetic.
Fish oils and Lazer bullshit wont help your hairloss it'll just empty your wallet.
Use the big 3 to give yourself the best chance of saving your hair.

Agreed. Propecia is your best shot for regrowth, and it´s almost guaranteed to stop shedding. So you keep what you got. Nizoral has a good chance of thickening your hair, and Rogaine is a proven hair growth stimulator. Go for the big 3 and don´t look anywhere else.

Why do people think that rogaine twice a day is such a pain?
You brush your teeth twice a day. Applying rogaine takes about 30 seconds. Not even that. And it dries after a couple of minutes. 2x30 seconds. That´s all you have to sacrifice.

once per day can be enough for some give it a shot.

i also find twice a day to be rather impossible due to using liquid and also that im not always in the same house each morning.
