My Experience With Hair Loss, Body Pain, and Stress

I wanted to share a personal-style story and see if anyone else has experienced something similar. My hair loss seemed to become more noticeable during a period when I was also dealing with frequent body pain and a lot of stress.

At first, I thought the two issues were completely unrelated. However, dealing with ongoing discomfort made it harder to sleep, exercise, and relax, and I noticed that my stress levels were much higher than usual. Over time, I started noticing more hair shedding and thinning, which made me even more worried.

I learned that significant physical or emotional stress can sometimes be associated with temporary increased hair shedding, although hair loss can have many different causes. This made me realize how important it is to look at overall health rather than focusing only on the hair itself.

For the body pain, I became interested in different approaches to treatment for body pain, including appropriate exercise, stretching, physical therapy, improving sleep, and discussing suitable medications with a healthcare professional. At the same time, I focused on managing stress and taking better care of my scalp and general health.

I'm curious whether other people have noticed increased hair shedding during periods of pain, stress, poor sleep, or recovery from an illness or injury. What helped you most—stress management, treatment for body pain, or a dedicated hair-loss treatment?

Just take magnesium B6. It promotes the production of your own endogenous progesterone, which will compete with testosterone for 5-alpha reductase, so to speak, clogging it. Progesterone has a greater affinity for 5-alpha reductase than testosterone. Progesterone, passing through 5-alpha reductase, will be converted to dihydroprogesterone, which will produce allopregnenolone, the calming hormone.
