Hello, I'm currently 27 yo and started losing hair when I was almost 22, hairline only.
I didn't start finasteride till about a year later around 23 yo, my hair stopped falling and a couple months in some of it was back in place(definite hairline improvement). Took it for about 1 year and then got lazy with it.
Even though I had read numerous reports of hair falling again right after stopping, it took my hair 3 whole years to start falling again(last month).
I'm now back on it, knew the signs right away from my experience 4 years ago. Guess I knew it was only a matter of time anyway, just didn't think it would take this long! I consider myself lucky.
Here's to hoping finasteride will do it's job again, now that I'm older and got a job maybe I'll start saving for surgery if it holds for a few years.
Seems like a dear diary post but I'd like to know what you think about my experience so far and the 3 years it took to start falling again.
