My discussion of diffusion and petition for a diffuse catego

It seems a lot of people are confused with what diffusion is. They think that once the receding hairline hits a bit diffusion is possible. For the most parts its not, they're 2 seperate beasts. Some people would actually classify this as diffusion

A lot of people have actually tried to convince me diffusion is very common. With some shots from easynow, I have finally confirmed this is simply not the case. People tell me that with diffusion, your hairline starts to go. If you hairline is going then you are not diffuse. As simple as that. Easynow's hair is decimated but he STILL Is a Norwood 1. Let me explain a little bit how the 2 baldings differ.

male pattern baldness can appear like diffusion BECAUSE of this...think of ur hair as a unit. the DHT army smashes into it from the front lines (or sometimes gets parachuted into the middle of your crown) and progressively, being elite soliders fall your follicular comrades 1 by 1. Some of your soldiers may flee and hide behind rocks. The majority of the DHT commandos spread out and continue pushing the line back. Since some soldiers are left, a few DHT commandos stay back to kill the "strays" so that they can leave a barren wasteland. This is analagous to what male pattern baldness is. You simply have some strays but its not diffusion. In diffusion...its like the DHT decides to be a pussy...stand back and nuke your follicular army with super bombs i.e. biological attack. Now, as in any standard population, people with some genes will be not susceptible to the virus. They are spread randomly therefore you have a approximately equal chance of survivorship anywhere. The survivorship is based purely on density...lots of follicular soldiers with good resistance will survive, and leave more density. Shitty density= poor genes. Of course no matter what, not every soldier will fall. THe DHT president needs 2 design another super bomb, which takes out another % of whats left....of course the # falling is less and less...its like taking 1/2 of a 1/2 of a 1/2 of a 1/2 of a 1/2. Its hard to destroy everything, but you can come close to it as here:

As you can see this man has had many bombs already fall on his head. The previous picture shows a LEADING DHT edge taking on the follicular units, and remaing DHT commandos to sweep out the rest in whats known as a TRAILING EDGE. I hope I have shown once and for all, true diffusion isn't as common as what people think it is. This is why i am encouraging, and hoping mods read this post to open up a new topic board for the diffusers. For all we know the mechanism can in fact be very different. Simply PM me anyone who wishes to start a diffusion category, and hopefully we can open one up.

i really think that diffusion is just male pattern baldness in a diff pattern, and that the medications work for diffusers as well . i'm a real diffuser, you know that, and dutasteride has worked for me.

p.s.- mac, take a look at my new haircut thread. you are a similar difffusion pattern to me so you may wanna consider a cut like mine? 1-1.5 inches on top, 1/2 inch on the sides.

I think it is a pretty good analogy. But I am still confused as to why the hair just leaves and doesn't even try to come back. Obvously all hair follicules are being hit with the same amount of DHT. So why do some follicules just stop all together? Why do they not miniaturize and die off?
