Beaner if u dont mind...would I be able to see some pics...for me like I said because the sides r thicker..plus they lie on top of another rather then a burr...form a thick matrix fast...this is offset by buzzing it to guard 1...almost any hair type and calibre buzzed to 1 or 0 would reveal scalp...its jus lil stubs sticking outta the side of ur head. This makes the contrast to the top of my head minimize, but I still have the top buzzed to 1.5 with that lil length HELPING but not fully disgusing my loss. Because my hair grows fast though, this cutt only lasts for 3-4 days as quickly, my side hair matrix is reformed, covering my scalp.

My hair isn't buzzed like that at the moment, but next time I do it, I will pm you a pic of it. I'm due so it should be soon. I like it about 1/8 inch longer on top, it looks better to me and a couple friends said it looked better so I'll take their word for it.

I can't see any hairloss and if there is then its next to nothing. Hairline is great and density looks fine considering its buzzed which inevitably shows scalp unless you have extremely dense hair. Hair is thicker on sides and back by nature, that's why the old haircut is called a short back and sides as that's what grows thickest and quickest.

Are there really many on here complaining of hairloss when there's not really a problem at all....hairloss is a problem if very diffuse thining ie scalp can be seen when hair is an inch+ long or balding crown with scalp that can be seen at inch+ long or temporal recession with half and inch plus recession...mines 2 inches of bald recession temporal with diffuse centre about an inch.

I would love hair like that. HM's the only thing that could get me hair like it..I am under no illusion any meds could get my hair back like that.

Well im going to ask once again...instead of looking @ that pic...look @ the 1 of the other poster with his hair soemwhat grown out...my hair looks 95% like that...that hair is buzzed but isnt buzzed as short as mine...but my hair AS OF THE TIME OF ME POSTING THIS MESSAGE HAS GROWN BACK TO THAT LENGTH. And besides the color looks almost identical. The scalp isshowing through despite it being that long. I dont think there should be that huge of a difference btwn the top of the head and the sides?

f*** it all depends on the light. In near 0 light the spaces in btwn my hairs cant be seen and I look Norwood 1.5.. Great. In one light today @ work, even with my 0.5 inch hair now, my sides are slightly visible...and on top, the light filters through, and it effectively looks like I have a brown scalp on top (cuz the light filters through the hairs since they're so thin) and I have thicker sides that are covered...it looks ridiclous...help guys please.

I support the idea of keeping the buzz as short as possible. Since you are already in the buzz style anyways, why not try it without the attachment, and just the metal clipper. It will give you that stubble look which is quite nice. You have a good shape head for the look so it may be worth trying. I shave with a blade and it has become my typical look for almost 7 years now, but I do from time to time keep it look with the stubble look. Just make sure you are taking a dht inhibitor and use the other typical treatments like nizoral and I think you'll be able to sustain good enough growth and prevent further thinning.

Also thought I would mention that my hair is also the same color as yours. A bit off topic, but as long as you get a bit of sun and you manage to get a bit of a tan, the stubble look would do wonders i think. I used to work in sales with lots of bright lights over me, the shaved/stubble look seemed to provide me with the best solution and piece of mind. I cannot stress enough that a bit of a tan helps out quite a bit for the guys like us who have darker hair.

Who says im not? Im not stressing over my hairline...f*** I like it, but I really wish I had back what im losing..seriusly dont make me post old pics of how thick my hair just used to be. Me and taug are worlds apart in terms of mental stability, I think i actually got something to be concerned about, and somehow being 5 years younger I have my sh*t together much better, and have had a lot more woman play then he has...Oh and btw I drive a Mercedes McClaren, and have a 10 inch dong, so suck on that taugiepants.

Just looked at these pics and the pic you posted in the easynow's story thread does show some loss, but in these ones it looks fine. I think since you're on meds and you've caught it early you'll be sorted.
