So I'm a 26 year old with temple recession primarily on one side, developing into the nw2.5 scale, I'm waiting for a microscopic camera to update with pics...

Well, I've taken in and digested just about all the information on the site and I've bought my whole regimen...Now I absolutely HATE the idea of messing with my hormonal balances, propecia is not really an option (i suppose last resort).
*** I'm HOPING that the topical spironolactone and revivogen / regenpure 1% ket will be enough to HALT my hairloss...

My regimen is as follows:
Saw Palmetto/Biotin/Zinc/Niacin Supplements
Regenpure DR and NT (Alternating days) - 1% ket
Topical s5 Day and Night creams - 5% spironolactone
Revivogen PRO Hair Therapy (DHT Inhibitor)
Tricomin Follical Therapy Spray (copper peptide) multiple applications throughout day
UPDATE-------------------- I added lipogaine (minoxidil) to my regimen last night

I will post pictures as soon as my microscope arrives.
Please feel free to comment in the mean time, I'd really like your feedback, this forum is beyond helpful!

Thanks,
CJ

All that stuff is useless crap. If you don't want to use finasteride, I would at least use an alternative that might work. (CB/RU)

That is such a sweeping statement... and not entirely true.
But,We'll see...

Regenpure DR - 1% ket... plenty of resources say its comparable to nizoral
Revivogen does have some science behind it as a DHT inhibitor and an impressive ingredients list. also refer to consumer trials (http://www.hairlosstalk.com/hair-loss-news/article158.php)
Tricomin, once again there is plenty of impartial information on copper peptides stimulating hair growth. And lots of users on these forums that swear by it.
spironolactone... lots of debate on its effectiveness due to it metabolizing to a much weaker anti-androgen , hits dht from the other side of revivogen...

With the exception of saw palmetto, eveything listed has proven to be USEFUL time and time again not useless.

Lets try and approach things logically and rationally shall we?
I understand finasteride probably does a better job inhibiting dht than revivogen, but permenant ED and/or moobs is definately not worth the hair.

I just got here, and damn this guys doesn't pull any punches.

In response to your regimen, good luck. I would be really surprised if you gained any ground though. You left out both of the proven treatments. Keep us posted though, you never know.

I understand your point about sides, but unfortunately anything worth taking for hair loss will have potential sides.

Your regimen will maybe slow down the male pattern baldness process but it's faaaaaaaar less efficient than the usual big 3... and also MUUUUUCH more expensive..
Usually people wants the most efficient and cheapest regimen...but you don't I guess

I've added lipogaine to my regimen as of last night. Also, I've read revivogen and spironolactone in combination could be just as good as propecia(finasteride). Reguardless, due to the comments above I will be sourcing some RU to add to my regimen, I've really thrown the kitchen sink at it.

The ONLY thing im leaving out is finasteride due to potential sides=\

Thank you for your post, OP. I'm unable to take minoxidil and Propecia due to the side-effects. Interesting to see other people's regimen that do not contain those two. At the moment, I only take saw palmetto and biotin. What is your dosage of saw palmetto? And what brand?

I currently take "Nature's Way Saw Palmetto Berries" from Amazon. My dosage used to be four capsules daily, but then reduced it to two capsules because I've noticed a decrease in libido. Each capsule is 585 mg.

There's really no way to tell if its going to work, i may give into finasteride if i dont see improvement in 6 months or so

Thanks! Yeah, I hear you have to be patient with saw palmetto. Some say it takes up to a year. For me, I really don't have any other choice.

Nope, I actually looked at the ingredient breakdown and ordered them individually as supplements. Hairmaxx is overpriced big time.
