My buddy is the best barber

He is 21 y/o and my best friend. He does such a perfect job giving me haircuts that manipulate people into thinking I'm not thinning or at least makes it way less noticeable! He recommends me best pomades and waxes for my thinning hair and giving honest opinions about my progress etc. And the best? He is studying about male pattern baldness and treatments! He sometimes talks to young balding guys that it's obvious their hairloss is bothering them about treatments (in person of course) and he's not recommending snake oils and shttty shampoos bla bla. I think it's rare. Your experiences?

It seems like you've got a pretty nice best friend, I'm glad he gives you haircuts that help make your hair look like you're not thinning, they must be very good. Does he recommend the actual proven treatments like Finasteride and Minoxidil? It's great he'll talk to young men with male pattern baldness about their situation and helps them out. I do think it's rare, I've never met anyone that cares about young men who are losing their hair.

Nice, he sure does know his stuff! Yes, Proscar is a very good treatment for balding indeed, good of your friend to recommend it. Excellent of him to recommend you this forum, this place is priceless.

Yes, zzzzz's success story is great, it's basically what inspired me in a way to use Dutasteride for my hair loss. He doesn't come much on here anymore though, they burned out pretty much, a very avid poster he was. Hopefully they'll come back, he's a great asset to this forum.

I don't think it's common for someone with a perfect full thick head of hair to care about people losing hair to the extent your friend does, I don't even know him and I like him already, I'm sure he's studied well about hair loss and the devastating effects it causes to the sufferer.
