my brother doesnt want to take treaments

he told me yesterday that he was balding. well i knew he got temples but i didnt know they were growing.

so he is balding.

i told him about treatments but he doesnt want take any health risks (finasteride) and only wants to spend 5-10 $ per months in it.

he doesnt seem to care much if he gets bald or not.

its up to him, i dont want to tell him anything.

just wanted to share...

my 18yo brother is balding as well and it doesn't bother him...he doesn't even want to get on propecia.

I wish i had his mindset...im too vain, i guess...o well.

Your brothers are smart young men. It's not too hard to realize those drugs that cause harmful side effects is not worth the $$ and damage when eventually it will just fall out anyway.

Vainity, is a big problem for young guys. You don't want to lose those youthful looks and you go into denial about your aging process. Only when you accept your baldness can you heal your mind and go on with life. On the other hand you have the people that try every snake oil around and end up wearing toupee's or getting disfiguring transplants, which in the end makes them miserable and depressed as ever and stuck living a lie and not being able to enjoy the simple things in life such as the wind,rain and water.

My life is just fine, tone it down a bit pal. There are plenty of responsible people who take finasteride.

I just consulted another bald guy. NW4v. He does not care enough to use Dermmatch, but he does want to stop his hair loss, and does not mind some topicals as long as they will work. I told him finasteride, nizoral, and foam, and said he can put some apple poly or spironolactone in his shampoo if he wants. He said he'll look at my website and do his own research before he gets anything. He honestly does not know propecia from scam, and really wants to find something that actually works. I wonder what I could email him to convince him. Every scam has some fake study, and Avocore says it is FDA approved.

thats the only thing i did. i accepted it how it is at the moment but still try to improve it.

So true. They don't do anything and stand on their high palace and say it does not matter. Then it all goes downhill. Then it is too late, and they still say it does not matter (in public) or come on here and whine. I have no sympathy for them if they went around telling guys like me not to improve themselves.

You don't have to want to improve yourself, or tell others to. But damn it, if someone else is trying to improve himself, you do not tell him not to, or that it does not matter. I hold those people in low regards and will laugh at them when they far down hill.
