I want to share with all of you my story, I hope it helps someone
I'm hispanic, male, 33 now and had a hair transplant two years ago, almost three this December
I never thought I could afford it, let alone in Beverly Hills with Bosley, but somehow I did and it was the BEST decision I ever made
My biggest concern was the cost and that is what kept me from even trying, let me tell you what I did:
I was classified as hairloss 5/5A and was recommended a transplant of 2,400 grafts to see the kind of results I wanted, I was pretty much bald in the front
the cost was 2,400 X $5.50 per graft = $13,200.00
then you get charged for extra grafts (if they do not do at least 100 extra, they refund you a portion of the money), this cost 100 X $3.00 = $300.00
the procedure was $13,500 but then since they were having a promotion, they automatically discounted $3,200
From the $10,300 the ONLY thing they added was $495, the cost of medications/antibiotics/vicodin/cleaning cloths/special shampoos etc.
So my surgery ended up costing a grand total of $10,795
I had a total of 2,614 grafts, the 2,400 I paid for, the 100 extra grafts, and 114 FREE
From my savings which weren't much I paid $2,795
I then went to my bank and they gave me a personal loan for $8,000
The term was 36 months - so from January 2009 I have been paying a total of $275.38 - I finish in December
