the first six pictures are is my current hair wet, the next four are my current hair dry and the last two are from six months ago

So a little over 6 months ago I first started to notice my hair loss. It scared me a lot, especially since I just turned 18. I posted some pictures and was told to check again in 6 months, so here I am. i would love some opinions so please let me know if you guys think it has gotten worse or just matured. Thank you guys, everyone here has been a big help this last half a year, the anxiety and depression hair loss has caused me is still here but I'd be lying if I didn't say it has gotten a bit better. I'm not sure exactly where my hair loss will stop since I can't think of anyone in my family who really suffers from it but I'm hoping my hair line has just matured.

Unlike some other butthurt members here, I clearly see recession. Idk if I see thinning or that's just the natural density of your hair, but the fact that you have pimples along your hairline worries me a bit to be honest

I see the recession too, thank you for the honest answer. But I'm not too worried about the pimples, I work out almost every night after I get off work and sometimes I'm too tired to shower until morning, also I touch that area a lot with my hands/fingers since I have a lot of hair. And about the thinning, I think that is just the natural density of my hair. One thing that gives me hope is that I now have a lot less miniaturized hair than I did 6 months ago.

What do pimples mean?

I think he is correlating pimples to a sign of male pattern baldness, since those experiencing the onset of male pattern baldness are likely to have quite severe pimples/acne as well. Like me, I suffered from acne a lot when I was 18-20, and this was also the time where my hairloss was most aggressive.

I can also see the recession, if not treated your temples wioll most likely go further back.

pimples indicate inflammation which is not healthy for the surrounding scalp.

Harry, you posted this half a month, not 6 months ago. You're still fine.

pulling your hair back like that is the least flattering thing you could do for any hairline balding or not. Even still your hair looks really good as it is. Yeah there might be some thinning going on there but noone can tell you how fast or if it will progress. In my opinion you are developing a 'mature hairline' aka minor recession at the corners while the frontal hairline stays solid and there is no thinning behind the hairline. This is technically minor male pattern baldness which the vast majority of Caucasian men express over their lifetime. My hairline looked the same as yours at 19 and it wasn't until 26 I decided to get on finasteride. My point being, you have plenty of time to assess your situation so don't stress about it, you got this.

I think it just matured. The velus hairs that were there earlier are all gone, and none have replaced them further up on your hairline, it just stopped.
