Ill keep it brief:

Treatments

2003 - present day: Finpecia (1mg finasteride daily)

Discontinued/Dabbled Treatments:

Nizoral - I dont doubt it works, but it left my hair dry, frazzled and "straw like"

Tricomin - Its sh*t

AC Revitalise - Very very good. Shampoo and conditioner both superb adjudentive treatments. Sadly discontiued by AC.

Shampoo's and Styling:

Lock Stock and Barrel Thickening Shampoo

Lock Stock and Barrel 85 Karats

Cannot recommend the above enough. If you have thinning hair you want to style you NEED those products in your life.

4 year results

Complete maintence of crown area.
Slight regrowth on top of head
No change in temporal recession. Hasnt worsened which to me equals success.

No side effects from Finasteride.

minoxidil is not needed, but would consider in future should the need arise.

I bought both of the above products on this recommendation. The shampoo is ok, but if you don't want your hair to look sticky, greasy & generally rubbish then leave out the 85 Karats.

Of all the shampoos I've tried, Jason thin-to-thick wins every time. I also use Clynol id texture construct moulding clay. It has a really matt finish, which is perfect for us diffuse thinners....

Hi, try using a very small amount of the products and "warm" it in your hands first and apply sparingly. If its still too shiny for your hair, maybe try AC Fibre - nothing gives a more matt finish!

So how much hair have you left on your head? NW2?

I would describe myself as either advanced NW2 of "Pre NW3"!
