You don't have to do any mind-meld, in fact you don't even have to respond. I never asked for a response from you nor did I write anything in the above post's concerning you. At no time did I ask for your opinion nor do I care for your opinion. You can re-read that post 100 times and you can have a view on how I wrote the word " the " and I don't want to hear what you think.

End of story.

My bad. I thought this was a discussion group. I figured people were free to respond as they see fit. Silly me.

:stupid: and :stfu:

Ok im over this thread. Again I will say this is a record of my own personal experiences, you can take them as you please and if you believe they are bull-s-hit, which clearly Mr Jaydigs does and a few others, then thats fine. The fact is, you can't prove me wrong and I can't prove you right. Their has not been enough studies about this issue, to say 100% either way. But on top of all that this is an open forum where people are free to say what they please, so i will say whatever the hell i want.

Jaydiggs you sound like you have a conflict of interest with creatine and glutamine and other supplements, wouldn't suprise if you work for some major supplement company and just come here to try and hawk your products and stop bad PR about the products, you clearly dont care if young guys reading this lose their hair you just wanna make money and for them to be bald like you coz your jealous of guys that actually have hair and hot bodies. You appear to be trying to promote these products But to any young guy like myself reading this, I say you not taking these products is clearly the lessor of two evils, you do not need them to have a great body, just eat clean and get ur whey protein. So based on this I therefore think your opinion is biased and its really quite pathetic. You think you're like some kinda bodybuilding GOD who like knows everything their is to know. Least i dont pretend to know everything. On top of that I bet you weigh about 150 pounds and have arms like string spagetti.

Over and out, fools.

Ps:Thanks to those who defended me.

Oh. That was rich. I don't even know where to start.

I work as a contractor. I help build million dollar houses in and around the Boston area. I have no affiliation with any supplement companies nor am I on this board for any other reason but to find out information on male pattern baldness. That is what I do when I do not understand a subject or products, I research and learn more on the subject for that I know I am able to do so. I am 26 years old and I have a full set of hair friend. I have just noticed it is getting thinner and I would like to know if there is something I can do to prevent this from happening....Research! Something you had not done before posting what you have posted...CRAP.

As for calling me skinny. LMFAO. Ok what I am going to tell you is scary and I know you might be affraid and ashamed. Its ok.

I am 6'4 and 247lbs with 13% BF friend. I have been in the gym my entire life.12 years of trainin. Learning and lifting and learning and lifting. I would put you to shame in the gym, I have taken supplement my whole life, i have doubled my gain's, I have learned, I have researched, I have pushed on, I have fought the battle. Who the hell are you to make those assumptions about me?

Bottom line is you know sh1t about me and I know way to much about you and who you are just from those statements above. I have known people like yourself, guys/kids that just can't find there way in the gym or in life. Guys/kids that just can't seem to break the 190's but think they are doing everything they can to do so. You don;t have the heart young son!
You don't have what it takes to get to that other side. You need to dig deep for that strength and some just do not have it. You don't have it at this time in your life. It is a phase or a level in your life and you have to get through it yourself. I suggest you put your time and effort into that and not telling a guy that has super exceeded you in all walk's of life, what he should be doing or tryin to guess my gain's and accomplishments.

I am way ahead of you...

Can you catch up?

lol oh touche' you win big man! *runs and hides in fear of the wrath of big jaydiggs* ... You say you know me? Well I know you too. And right now the only muscle you're flexing is the one between your ears! I actually have no intention of being 200 pounds plus. Women don't actually find muscle bound mutants like yourself attractive. I train to have a more ripped, lean and "less bulky" appearance. As for my intelligence and research ability that you have so ineloquently belittled, I can assure you they are well above and beyond what you could ever be capable of as im an Engineering student, currenly studying my masters. So yes they have to be VERY good.

Now I will conceed but one thing to you, YES what I wrote was not well researched or planned and is very poorly writen. Statements such as "Creatine causes hairloss" is not perhaps my best work. I should of wrote "In my experience Creatine causes hairloss" happy now? But I wrote this on the spare of the moment without a heck of alot of thought. But what you are falling to grasp here my friend is (And i will say this but one last time) what was writen was not ment to be a research paper, it was just a short record of my own personal experiences and rules that I stick by <--- Sinking in yet? "MY PERSONAL RULES" Typical of guys of your stature and occupation, get a little money and a nice car and suddenly you're above listening to anyone and all you do is talk and boss people around. A mouth without ears. Anyway thats all I want to say further on this subject. Lets leave it there shall we? But of course you will reply, coz its in your nature to beat others down. Thats what you do for a job. But im not in that business and I dont care to be.

No hard feelings.

END OF THREAD.

I agree with some of these and I have been bodybuilding for 12 years and weigh 195 pounds with 9 percent bf...so I am not talking out of my ***. IMHO any hardcore lifting routine where you are lifting until failure can and will increase hairloss IF you have male pattern baldness genes. Creatine and Glutamine make me feel great and I still use them but I can swear that I get more shedding on the days I use them which is bout 3 times a week. In my experience anything that leads to higher insulin levels, test or GH increases my hairloss. Ironically these are the same ingredients that give you the best anabolic response. If I want to reach my bodybuilding goals I would need to find ways to further increase my anobolic response! A catch22 situation. And yes I have tried Andro and Deca back in the day and you shed like a f'in b**ch on that stuff..

Im hardcore into lifting weights, ive taken, creatine, glutamine, fat burners, whey protein and and whole bunch of other supplements. Ive been on very strict calorie controlled diets. Ive done alot of cutting and bulking both gaining and losing large amounts of weight in a short time frame. Ive done massive amounts cardio both low intensity and high intensity (HIIT) training techniques. Ive trained for 6 days a week 3-4 months at a time, doing extreme lifting, squats, dead lifts, heavy bench presses.. EVERYTHING! and lots of periods in between of poor diet and no exercise. Ive done it all! And in this regard and I can only speak of my personal experience of losing hair and lifting weights, coz i have struggled with it for a long time on decideing whether its been positive or a negative experience for me. And at certain times in the past I felt it has made me lose hair and other times ive thought its actually helped in maintaining my hair through healthy living. I dont want to drag this on forever but this is my opinion after 5-6 years of bodybuilding.

1. Creatine definately increses hairloss

2. Glutamine is safe in small doses ie: mixed within the whey protein, but in large doeses it increases hairloss in my opinion.

3. Whey protein on its own is perfectly safe and does not effect hairloss. I have 3 serves a day.

4. I think squats increase hairloss. This is what i noticed when i was doing intense squats (so much that i could barely walk after, it works the whole body) and releases to much growth hormone which causes hairloss.

5. Besides squats every other weight lifting excercise is fine, and doesnt cause hairloss. Why would anyone wanna work on their legs anyway? I work on my upper body almost exclusively. I do some calve work too.

6. Lifting weights in general is healthy for your hair and definetly does not increase hairloss.

7. Long cadio sessions like marthon running and anything over 7 miles a day causes your hair to thin in diffuse manner. To much stress hormone is realeased. Stick to under an hour cardio sessions. Other than that its good for ur hair and skin.

8. Multi vitamins with zinc everyday cause more hairloss. You dont need them everyday. Only take a half everyday or 1 every second day is quite enough.

9. Eating a diet to low in fat increases hairloss, you need to have at least 40grams of fat a day for ur hair to remain healthy.

10. Extremelly low calorie diets like crash diets like under 1200 calories a day also causes hairloss.

Ok thats all i can think of now. This is my own personal experience after years of lifting and dieting. So dont can me if you disagree with me. thanks :)

Dude thanks! I experienced the same thing when taking alot of glutamine and creatine. My pillow would be covered in hair in the morning after i took it and i would pretty much freak out. It happend more than once through out the years, so i don't believe its a coincidence in my case. It may not effect other people, but it certainly has effected some of my bodybuilding buddies at the gym too.

No. No arguement on my side. You have admited that what you have wrote was crap and yes you are right, it was written extremely poorly. It has only taken you this long to admit that and in case you have forgoten what this arguement is about it is exactly that. You posting crap.

It does no good... No good at all to tell me or anyone here, at this point, that what you wrote is your " personal opinion "

When you lead a sentence or make a statement such as " Creatine deffinitly increases hairloss. " That is not an opinion.
It does not matter what you have wrote after or before that.

On another note. Myself and other's on this forum have called you out. At no time have you pasted scientific research to back what you have wrote. I have to say, if that were me and people called me a " fraud " an " imposter " a " fake " I would 100% have posted a study to back my claim's up. You have not. You post a 1/4 page, 3 paragraph article stating nothing in which you had talked about.

Doesn't sound like a Master's degree to me.

Basic Fundementals that belong to a Research Project

Style Sheet ------------------------------( SOURCE INFORMATION )

As in any formal paper, you must use references to indicate the sources from which you have drawn your information.

Does this sound familiar to you? It should. In fact you should have learned this along time ago.
Although I don't have to tell this to someone going for their Master's.

Granted this is not a formal paper nor is this a research project paper. These "tool's" that you have obtained throughout all of these years of schooling should come in to play here. You shouldn't be telling anyone how much schooling you have, instead it should show through words or your thought proccess. I have seen no evidence from you that you hold any degree.

Although I don't know anything about engineering? What would I.... someone that build's residential and commercial building's, know anything about engineering?

" I can assure you they are well above and beyond what you could ever be capable of " End qoute

Don't you think for two seconds you could out smart me.....ever. What you know now, I learned 4 years ago and don't forget that.

This thread is over. You were wrong.

End of Story.

You are losing hair because you have the GENES. That's all there is to it.

I have lots of friends who are into lifting hardcore and some have alil hair loss, some have perfect nw1s.

But they all train in similar ways and take similar doses of supplements.

It's in your history..just accept it.

just to give you guys an update

I started my hardcore weight training 2 months ago. It didn't make any major difference to my hair at all.

I figure if I dont have the greatest hair, at least I can have a sexy body. lol

Since staring intense weight training for that last four months Ive noticed that my hair has in fact been shedding at a much greater rate than ever, coincidence, probably not .. guess its time for some dht inhibitors because im not gonna quit weight lifting ...as for creatine, im not saying it causes hair losss but what you get from eating meat or fish isnt near the amount you get from a supplement ..

Yes lifting weights can raise testosterone levels (if you are working out correctly and eating right), but the raise is not very signifigant. It is not a "night and day" difference...it is more like a "night and an hour later that night".

The slight boost you get should not translate into any real hair loss, if it does you were predisposed to lose it anyways and probably just happened a tad sooner.

Genetics are either a blessing or a b**ch huh.

As for the rest of the stuff (like creatine causing hair loss) is simply ludicris.
