Children of men

Right there with ya!

I was bored with Children of Men. I don't understand how it was able to snow certain critics.

Same goes for the Kill Bill movies.

Now a movie which I just recently saw on cable and thoroughly enjoyed was Charlie Wilson's War. A HELL of a movie! Very very entertaining, and very informative!

Last 5 years? I haven't seen many movies lately, but I'll list a few..

Ray
Eastern Promises
Memoirs of a Geisha
LOTR Trilogy (The first two are probably older than 5 years)
Troy (it might be slightly older than 5 years)

I can't think of anything else that hasn't been listed...

What about Family Guy - The Movie? Or The Simpsons?

Bryan I guess I was able to simply delve into the topic. I simply loved it and Clive Owen is my favorite actor.

Like you though...my father simply hated it.

Anyone see the movie HAROLD about the 13 yr old bald kid in high school?

Just saw it. Movie was so so but since I'm losing my hair, the movie struck a chord with me, even though I'm much older than the kid in the movie.

The Visitor

I liked this movie too, perhaps because the lead (Richard Jenkins) is a career character actor, and quite bald.

not sure how many high Norwoods get lead roles these days, particularly at his age.

I didn't like this as much as the directors last film 'The Station Agent' look it up if you liked 'The Visitor'
