Most effective way to use Nizoral?

What's the best way to get your scalp to absorb the shampoo?
I usually wash my hair with normal shampoo first to clean the scalp then use Nizoral on the nice and clean scalp.

Is this a good way or is there any other method?

many people do use a mild shampoo first, then use nizoral and leave it on for 5 minutes. theres no other way to make it more effective then leaving it for 5 minutes for a good absorption.

some people even go 10 minutes, but i personally find 5 minutes to be plenty.. any longer and it tends to create a bit of an itch for the next few days after shampooing.
