how many hairs does one lose daily (constantly) after the morning routine? (shower, combing, etc) for a person with male pattern baldness and non-male pattern baldness

There is no real number. I might see 20 hairs each day swirling around in the bath. Some might see 100...

People with male pattern baldness can potentially lose 0 to 400 hairs daily.

Shedding is always a terrible gauge of what is going on with your hair.

Consider the graphical illustration in the following URL:

(EDIT: please overlook the typo, I know that 60 + 30 is not 100. Sorry!)

If you are undergoing a 'shed', there is no way to tell if you are in quadrant A, or in quadrant B.

Additionally, conclusions drawn from people from NOT shedding are equally bunk. Even though you are not shedding, you might still find yourself in quadrant C.

Sooo... how 'bout we all give up on the haircounting thang?....
