More than a year on finasteride, losing ground SLOWLY.

I've been on finasteride (generic) for over a year now. Used to use nizoral but stopped about 5 months back.

Over this time I've lost ground, albeit slowly. As evidence of this, I've attached pictures showing that the baby hairs on my hairline have most definitely disappeared over the course of the last year. A widows peak of sorts has formed. You may think I'm being paranoid but my father lost his hair in his early/mid thirties so can't be too careful. I was wondering if anyone had any anecdotal advice that could perhaps help me stabilise my hairloss.

Thanks in advance.

PS: Don't bother commenting if you're going to pretend you can't see the recession :)

Holding onto those baby hairs is very hard I imagine. I’d stay the course

Isn't that great? you had a shitty female hairline.
i do think that it looks better in a way, but I'm more concerned of future hairloss and the potential that I may be a nonresponder to finasteride.

Are you on minoxidil? What dose of oral finasteride are you on?

I suggest you hop on topical finasteride/minoxidil combo.
standard 1mg oral finasteride. Thanks for the insight, the only thing that's stopped me from buying minoxidil is the general uncertainly about its effects on skin quality.
