More Hair Loss When Not Shampooing?

I’ve done an experiment to test to see how hair is effected by shampooing. I have not shampooed my hair in 6 days and the result is that I see more hairs falling out in my sink and shower and on my hands compared to when I do shampoo my hair. I don’t know if this is because I’m sensitive to dht and I’m not washing it out meaning it sits and effects the hair more or not but I’m really confused on the out come... any input?

I never see hairs after showering, not a single one. I wish i did, that could mean it was something other than mbp.

I do it 3-4 times a week. Seriously, all ppl tell me this, but i see nothing. I never see anything in the drain.

I am balding though, i'm not on this site in the hope of something else:)

People are different. You cannot learn this on Google. Nobody in my family has mbp, but it happened to me. People these days are more concerned about being right rather than fronting actual science.

That's true. No argument there. I wonder why it happened to bigger hairs earlier..

And i'm here for a reason lol.

My hair got stronger and thicker after stopping shampoo for over a year. I also feel like I shed less. My hair texture also feels and looks different. I don't think shampoo was causing hair loss for me but it made my hair dry and puffy.

You lose 100-150 a day, but they can stay up there for quite sometime if tangled with other hair. Shampooing removes these strands. The longer you go without doing so, the more loose hair will be up there. This will make it seem as though you are shedding more than you actually are.

Although hair loss may seem like a more prominent problem in men, women are nearly as likely to lose, or have thinning, hair. Most women notice it in their 50s or 60s, but it can happen at any age and for a variety of reasons.

Way to Grow
Hair grows in three different cycles: anagen, catagen, and telogen. About 90% of the hair on the head is in the anagen, or growth phase, which lasts anywhere from two to eight years. The catagen, or transition phase, typically lasts 2-3 weeks, during which the hair follicle shrinks. During the telogen cycle, which lasts around two to four months, the hair rests.
Most people lose anywhere from 50 to 100 strands of hair each day, according to the American Academy of Dermatology. On the days when hair is washed, people can lose up to 250 strands, Roberts said. But don’t avoid washing in an attempt to keep the hair, as it will fall out eventually.

Not only Hair products, along with Healthy food one can really get healthy hair and strong hair.
Diet plays an important role in keeping the skin and hair healthy.

Food for hair fall:
1.Spinach.
2.Fatty Fish.
3.Sweet Potatoes.
4.Avocados.
5.Nuts.
6.Seeds.
Generally i use Pai-Shau hairproduct "shampoo" with a unique combination of amino acids and essential vitamins & minerals.
because the hair will be softer, bouncier, shinier and more manageable than before.
