Month 3 of Rogaine Foam - Important question

I'm on month 3 of applying Rogaine Foam twice/day, without pause. After first 2 weeks my hair start falling like hell from many areas, including non-bald areas. I read it's normal and i shouldn't be scared. But now i am at the end of month 3 (2 days left) and the shedding is still present. Indeed not like before but now when i look in the mirror i can see large areas with less hair than before starting Rogaine treament.

I must also say i am not using anything other than Rogaine foam (pills or so).

So my question is: It's normal to have this shedding even after 3-4 months of using it continuous ?

Oh yes. Do a quick search on the forums you'll get hundreds of results. I think it is more likely you will shed than not. Keep going!

All people shed. A person without hair loss will shed about 100 hairs a day. Unfortunately, you're now hyper aware of your shedding, which sucks.

After three months, topical minoxidil (the active ingredient form in Rogaine) will stabilize your shedding at the very least.

If you really want to mark progress, you need to take pictures. There's no point in making a comparison without data.

I took pictures at the beginning of the treatment but my hair was short in that period. Now it's grown up so i can't compare. Soon i will take a haircut and i will post the pics. Here are the pics from Day 1 of Rogaine foam treatment:

From all the info I have read, it seems that you need to experience a shed (whether it's noticed is another matter) if you are to experience results. The worse thing would be to stop during the shed or soon after. Ride it out, it may take a few cycles but your hair should come back stronger/thicker. Good luck.
