Monitoring Hair Loss Effectively

Hey Guys,

I have been losing my hair for the past few years now and tried 5 or 6 products (including propecia and rogaine etc…) the issue I had is that i don't know which are working, there is no way to 'track' my progress. I have wasted a lot of money on hair products unknowing whether they work so in my spare time (i'm an electronics engineer) i have made a piece of hardware & software that tracks the progress of my hair loss, you move the device over your head and it takes an average of hair follicles of the area, so over the period of weeks and month/s it shows the effect of where I was and where I am, i can then see if what i am using is actually stabilising my hair loss (i can make it predict where i will be in a few years if I spent some more time on it) its only for me at the minute but i was wondering if other people would actually use such a product?

I was just a little sick of guessing my progress rather than dealing with facts haha. Would love to know your feedback and see if this is something the community would actually use, or if its just me :)

You don't always see results. Propecia may only stop or slow down your hair loss, but you wouldn't know because you don't know how much worse you would be if you weren't taking it. Even for regrowth, some people who see great results do not begin to see their regrowth for a year. Stick with minoxodil + propecia. You can take high quality photographs in natural lighting and compare them with a year from now
