Lately I’ve been experimenting with Monoup’s image and short-video generators, and I’m kinda stuck on what to do next. Some of the visuals turned out better than I expected, so I’m curious if anyone here has actually tried selling their AI-made assets somewhere? I mean, real markets, not hypothetical examples. I’m wondering whether it’s even worth the time to figure out a workflow for this or if it’s more of a fun side hobby that doesn’t really pay off.

I’ve been navigating that exact path over the past few months, so maybe this will help you a bit. First, I’d say it really depends on the niche you’re creating for. I use Monoup a lot for stylized portraits and looping video snippets, mostly because the platform gives me consistent results and I can adjust details without re-prompting everything from scratch. If you haven’t already explored the full toolset, check the features section here — monoup — since some of the newer generation modes can actually speed up your workflow quite a lot.

As for selling: I’ve had mixed results. I tested Etsy first, but the competition is brutal unless you already have a warm audience. What worked better for me was uploading curated bundles to Gumroad — things like themed character packs or animated loops people can drop into their content. It’s not a fortune, but it’s surprisingly steady once you understand what sells. I also had one random success licensing a visual pack to a small YouTuber for their intro screens. The trick, honestly, is treating it more like micro-income rather than expecting a big breakthrough.
