This doesn't exactly confirm anything we don't already know, but there is a new article on the Mail about an experiment conducted by a model, where he had various Tinder profiles — each with a different main photo. The receding look attracted the least swipe-rights (shock horror). And even to get what he got he had to work hard for it. Depressing stuff. It's why I don't even bother with any of this sh*t anymore.

Discuss.

I do like reading about these experiments because it validates what I already know. If you got someone to interview girls on the street, way more of them would be in denial that baldness on a guy is a turnoff at all. But with any dating app you're going to get much more honesty expressed through one's actions as opposed to words (which you can never trust).

Do we need an experiment to confirm this? I could tell you right off the top of my head id rather date a girl with great thick hair than a bald one. Why would men be any different? Its just common sense. Yes, women dont go bald quite as often as men, but its the same thing. You dont need to waste time on tinder to figure that out

Tinder is a horrible way to date people. It boils everything down to simply looks, and doctored fake photos. A relationship is much more than looks when you really get down to it, and tinder could care less.
Its not just hair though its one piece, and it can be overcome. Its not doomsday

I'm only interested in short-term relationships anyway. I never want to get married and/or have kids. I'm not passing on my shitty genes — that's for sure.

Appealing to the 18–24 age range is tough when you're a balder/baldy. Girls are typically at their highest market value at this age range, and THEY hold all the cards. With the gender equality and equal pay movements in full flight as well, women are not as reliant on men as they used to be. As a consequence, they can be more choosey.

Girls on tinder also require you to be 6ft+ , have a ripped body , mad facial asthetics. Also it kind of feels like the daily mail is trying to promote the hairloss doctor. Although i am not denying the findings in this experiment to not be true , i think they blew it way out of proportion. Look at the picture the guy edited his “thinning hair” in. He looks like an idiot lool , looks unatural also. Not everyone will look like that when bald. Just like not everyone with a full head of hair will be precieved as good looking by all women.

Don't get me started about the height thing. It's pretty common for men to add an extra couple of inches to their height if they really feel the need to impress.

The tinder thing is that its a big sausage fest to begin with. Then you have like 10 percent of all the girls that 90 percent of all the men want. So its pretty obvious the top 10 percent can pick from 90 percent of all guys. So they can just pick the absolute best, and they will get matches because 90 percent of all men are picking them.
Online dating is horrible its much much worse then going to bars and doing it in real life instead where your personality can count for something vs purely looks
