As the title goes i am a 25 yr old female suffering from Androgenetic Alopecia. i have used rogaine liquid 5% since april this year. the results were well ok i should say realistically wise i should be happy. i saw hair but however not enough to cover up the whole head. i was thinking of switching to the foam but afraid i may lose my hair which had grown on the liquid.

what do you think?
i could post pics about my hair before and after however i wish to keep it to myself it is rather private. sorry.

i am now contemplating should i use the foam or stick to liquid as the leaflet mentions it is not possible to regrow one's fulll head of hair on rogaine.

thank you

hi may I ask why you want to switch to foam? foam and liquid, they both have active ingredient, Minoxidil but I am told that the foam version is gentler on scalp because it doesn't contain propylene glycol found in the liquid which sometimes can irritate the scalp. I guess you have long hair since you are a female? Liquid is easier to apply if you have long hair. If you have itchy / burning issues on your scalp, I'd say, yes try the foam version!! otherwise all I want to say is if it ain't broke, don't fix it!!....
