I just woke up. I applied less than half ml. of 5% minoxidil to my scalp - Around 6 small drops and today I'm still a bit dizzy.

Are you applying it to a DRY scalp, or a WET (or moist) one?

I apply it on dry scalp around 40 min before I go to bed. But I have oily skin and hair so maybe the scalp is a little moist but not that much.

Do you think it maybe be because after I bought Rogaine 5% around a week ago I sort of went crazy with application. I was applying too much but that was around a week ago. Now I'm applying very little, like I said yesterday I applied less then half of ml.
I'm going to buy 2% minoxidil today.

also, the dizziness is almost gone by 7pm.. it means that minoxidil its not affecting my blood pressure. Today I feel only a little bit dizzy but I applied a little bit of minoxidil at night.

Are you absolutely SURE that this is really coming from the Rogaine?? There's a bad flu going around the East Coast area at the moment; my sister is very sick with it right now. Don't you think it's possible that this dizziness you're experiencing is coming from something else, and you only THINK that it's from the Rogaine?

interesting point and you know what, I was actually sick last week, I had sore throat and runny nose and at the beginning I thought that's the case, however, I'm fine now and I notice the dizziness is in the morning. I apply Romaine only at night. The dizziness slowly go away during the day. Like now, I don't feel much dizziness but I applied less than half of ml. of 5% minoxidil. Maybe that condition has to do a little bit with the fact that I had throat and runny nose.
I live in Connecticut.

I'm puzzled and I'm trying to find out what's the deal with that because I was using minoxidil before in a form of Scalp Med. Scalp Med used to come in two bottles, one - Minoxodil 5%
,Alcohol 30%, Propylene 50%, Purified water, so this is close to Rogaine except Rogaine contains more Alcohol. 2nd bottle had some nutrition stuff. I mixed them together like they recommend.
Does that mean that where were less % of minoxidil after I mixed them in a one solution?
