I have always wondered about this. How much longer does minoxidil keep hair in the anagen phase? The hair still goes through the same cycles correct? I mean if you stay up too long and don't get enough sleep over a long period of time, eventually you are going to wear yourself out to the point you cannot function correctly. Obviously the damaged hair follicles need longer anagen cycles, but what about the healthy follicles that the minoxidil comes in contact with? Do they have to work overtime as well?

From reading threads of the past, I would say no. In fact, I missed my morning app this weekend. Just don't let it happen all of the time, or else you may seem some negative results of your slacking. But one missed app once in a blue moon isn't going to hurt anything.

Why would missing 1 application matter? Dr.Lee says all you need for maintenance is 1 application per day. At the worst you will just slow the regrowing process a tiny bit if you miss a dose here and there right? You shouldn't lose any hair right? Mabye he is just talking about his Xandrox.
