So, according to this. There is no point in starting Minoxidl if you let's say 42. Right? Considering it never gives full regrowth you might not even achieve maintenance on it if you at certain age.

I've come across posts on this site of people well over 40 that have reported success. If/when the time comes I will not let that statement stop me from at least trying. But, I get what they mean.
