minoxidil without itching or irritation - is it not working?

Reading this I see tonnes of people saying their head itches and is red and irritated etc since starting minoxidil. But mine isn't at all- it feels exactly the same as before I started-sometimes a bit odd but usually when it's been windy and the wind has fucked about with my style.

Am I just lucky or does it mean it's not working? I've been on it for just approaching a month.

I have been shedding though. Seems to belasting ages - about 3 weeks although it has been slowing down now (except this morning when I shed tonnes)...

Only like 10-20% of the minoxidil users report scalp issues. Its just that almost nobody without scalp issues posts that they dont have scalp issues. Just like most people dont post about how they have no erectile issues with finasteride, just the people who do.

I use finasteride and minoxidil and dont have any issues with either one. My scalp is fine, my sex life is fine. I just wish I had more results. Dont get me wrong, I have made significant regrowth, just wish I had more.

10 months on minoxidil/finasteride, No sheds (no obvious ones anyhow), no red scalp, no itchyness (is that a word?) no sex problems, no cataracts, no voices and some filling in of the top/back and a bit of growth at the front, pretty much what is says on the packet

9 months on minoxidil. I had initial irritation and flaking, but it went away after a few months.

I had initial sheds, and had several occasional sheds from time to time up until just this last month when I had my last one. Despite the occasional shedding, I have nice results! Don't let the sheds get you down!

minoxidil for 6 months, and ichtiness the first 2-3 months. it has died down drastically. Just be happy and not scared that your scalp is not itching or not inflammed.

My scalps itchy and inflamed too, probably from the vehicle (alcohol) they put in it. You should try Dr. Lee's minoxidil like alot of other people do, I might if the itching doesn't give up

I am on regaine 5% for one year and I have not experienced any side effects so far. ANd it works!!!
