Minoxidil Use - Advice For Elderly Heart Patient

My poor mum is losing hair at the front of her scalp. She is 77 and never attempted any treatment for hair loss. She has heart disease, well under control with the help of stents. I understand the minoxidil leaflet urges caution for heart patients but wondered if anyone had any real life experience of this potential conflict. Basically is it ok to put her on a trial?

You really need her to ask her Dr. For obvious reasons. Or buy her a good quality wig
