Minoxidil relieve itching for anyone else?

I know a lot of people say that minoxidil makes their scalp itch terribly but it does the opposite for me. My scalp itches very bad until I apply the minoxidil. Is there anyone else who has this same experience with it?

I'm a newcomer to it all.

Yes, it relieves the "male pattern baldness itch" for me.

But it also causes my head to itch in a normal way that is different from the male pattern baldness itch.

Yeah same here. I think a more normal itch is better though, maybe it hinst that the balding process is slowing down. Has yours slowed down considerably?

I dont really know if it is slowing down the process, but it is regrowing hair but from what I understand, the fundamental process is still in affect without a Dht inhibitor..

But nevertheless...my current early results got me walking down the street like this

Yeah, I am going to start finasteride sometime soon. I've only been on minoxidil for a month so I don't know how well it's done. How long did it take for your results?
