minoxidil question

For the past 6 months I have been monitoring my hairline VERY CAREFULLY for anymore recession. There has been no further recession and since adding Revita into the mix I have experienced VERY little shredding. Max 5-6 hairs shred after showering. After sleeping often I find 0 hairs on the pillow since Revita. Don't seem to shred if I run my hair through my hair etc. Hair also seems to feel a lot more stronger at the roots. (I recommend it to anyone)

With my hairline however if I push it up you can see a distinct widows peak forming, this is bothering me when I style my hair pushed up as it doesn't suit my face, plus it is a bit assymetric. So I am looking into minoxidil to restore my hairline without using finasteride etc. Is it worth trying out?

Attached is my hairline wet.

Thanks

Hi mate,

I basically use it 3x a week, every other day for the last 2 weeks, it says that you should use it 5-7 times a week, but I refrain from this because I want my hair to absorb my naturals oils on my scalp on my off days. I leave it on for 2-5 minutes whilst showering then wash it off.

I certainly feel the difference everytime I wash my hair using it, for example when I push my hair back completely like in the pic above, I can feel that my roots feel stronger even though my hair is drenched in water. Previously when I would do this in that state (wet), I would shred a couple of hairs in the process. Also any scalp irriation I may have, goes after wash. My hair also feels thicker. This does not mean that I dont shred, just a lot less frequently since switching my shampoo.

Other changes I have made is styling based, I rarely use products anymore to style my hair etc. If I am to use a product to style my hair with I use this:

Dont use finasteride/minoxidil etc as I wanted to monitor my recession first over a 6 month period to observe how aggressive my hair loss is. I suspect I have mild hairloss as I was able to maintain w/o revita or any DHT blocker over this period - just used nourkrin for a while.
