minoxidil, only on the hairline

Can it be done with results, is it possible just to maintain or even get some regrowth?

Iv just read on the info leaflet that its only to be applied to the vertex. After reading around the website, i couldnt find any solid results from any forumers.

It works on my hairline. I drip it on my hairline and rub it in a bit. There are now these little sections of fuzz re-establishing my hairline and making it thicker. I guess these dark fuzz patches will keep growing and turn into real terminal hairs like the rest. I've only been using the minoxidil for a couple of months.

Theoretically it can work on anywhere that has follicles present so yes. I too have used it on my hairline and it grew micro hairs up to 1 cm before i quit due to side effects.

The wikipedia article on minoxidil is an interesting read, it cites a study which found it had a definite and positive effect on the frontal hairline of most participants. I only use minoxidil on my temples, its been about 6 months now, and Im definitely seeing new smaller hairs and Im hoping these will get bigger, and I'll get more regrowth over time.
