Hello folks,
I just wanted to make sure that applying minoxidil (5% topical) on a scalp affected by a sebaceous nevus of jadassohn (which is some sort of humpy spot on the skin that could cause skin cancer if hurt or expanding) is safe ?
I have one that is about 1cm² diameter ,I had it since my early age (good old days
) it seems , seeing that I always felt a hump in that area, however ... hair is growing onto it , lately I am told that lots of my father's side family members had it.
why I am asking this ? because I know that minoxidil causes skin irritation and inflammation in some cases , and most of all , because I don't want to wind up having skin cancer ==> means chemotherapy ==> means all the hair gone .... it boils down to "take minoxidil to end up bald" , ironic isn't it ?
note that I've been taking minoxidil 5% for about 6 months[last year] (thankfully without any above-mentioned skin-harming side effects)
thank you blokes in advance for the oncoming answers I hope.
