Minoxidil Massaging Or Just Let It Soak

Hi guys sorry to bother you again with it but i have changed my way of applying minoxidil because of hand hypertrichosis. So instead of massaging it i just let it soak on my scalp.
And i have got The feeling that it IS less effective.
So which method is best? I cant rub it anymore.

Because some doctor say to let it soak and other to massage

Massaging it in serves no purpose. All you want is for the minoxidil to penetrate your scalp, which is the purpose of the ethanol/PG vehicle. Just, let it soak and dry.
