Minoxidil kicking in a second time?

Hi everyone,

I started minoxidil 2 years before propecia and my experience with it was good at first but it stopped working after a while. I've been adding finasteride for 4 months now, and going through a shed since last month.

I was wondering if it's possible that finasteride made minoxidil work again, and I'm now shedding because of minoxidil like I did when I first started it?

Or is it finasteride shed even if I already had one that stopped after 2 months ? or maybe just a seasonal shed ?

Based on your pictures I would say you are responding well to your treatments. I don't think there is any reason for concern. finasteride can definitely help minoxidil regrow hair because finasteride is actually attacking one of causes of hair loss. This means that maybe before DHT was too strong for minoxidil to work on its own.
