minoxidil issue - How best to apply.

I assume this has been discussed quite a lot on here.

Anyway, my hair is growing back (woo!) but now it's to a thickness that when I apply Regaine foam it kind of "clumps" the hairs together which makes it look worse (like when your hair is wet you see more of the scalp, only not as dramatic).

At the moment I simply apply the foam directly from the canister onto the hair and rub it in.

Any ideas?

Doesn't the liquid contain pretty much the same stuff, minus *whatever* which makes it foam?

I read that liquid also makes people's hair look greasy?

Use the very fingertips to massage your scalp, keep your hair short, make sure your hair are demp and not completely dry... all of this will help for sure.

I read conflicting things in regards to applying to wet (or damp) hair.

Some people say it increases bodily absorption (not a good thing) but others say it simply dilutes the minoxidil?

When I apply it to damp hair my eyes get dry, so I don't think I will do this (I assume it's because it makes the solution more prone to becoming air born, since it'll evaporate with the water?)

I checked about the solution (liquid) and Regaine says the foam should work within 4 months but the liquid up to a year so surely the foam is better?
