As far as the long dormant miniscule hairs go shedding,flaking,pealing of upper layer of skin gives the recently shocked to life hairs a chance to break through if you will .Other wise they remain unintersted in acheiving a length beyond skin surface .Along with finasteride my recent min induced flaking on hairline was shortly followed by long dorment vellus (fuzz) hair .Don't let this post encourage any min abuse or changes to directed application .All I'm saying is don't look at the dandriff as a totally bad deal .I now use tricomin to lessen the dandriff because it was bad .
