Hello,
Been using minoxidil 12.5% w azealic acid for 7 weeks now and there is very noticable growth for me already.
I first noticed the hair sprout at around 4-5 weeks, I saw that every doctor says the earliest it can be noticed is 3 months; how come it has been so quick for me and is there anything I should be prepared for? Like a massive early shed or something (I mean after the first shed which has finished for me).

Congratulations, your hair must be extremly fast in its resting phase :)

The reason it takes time is that (in general) hair needs to rest for three months before it starts to grow.:

TELOGEN PHASE
Lastly, your hair enters the telogen phase, a resting phase when your hair is released and falls out. The follicle then remains inactive for 3 months and the whole process is repeated. Each hair follicle is independent and goes through the growth cycle at different times, otherwise all your hair would fall out at once. Instead, you only shed a certain number of hairs a day – up to 80 hairs on a healthy head of hair.
