Minoxidil Foam Is Godsend Compared To Liquid

This is based on my personal experience.
I wish I didn't underestimate the foam version. I kept using the kirkland's liquid minoxidil cuz most people were saying the liquid version is better.
Anyway the liquid gave me insane unbearable itching it drove me completely insane, i was scratching my scalp like a mad man and hairs were dropping like flys.

I dropped liquid for one month and felt much better and now I started using kirkland's minoxidil foam. Here's my breakdown.

Positive things:
- Dries wayyy faster , like 10 mins. Maybe 15 max
- I can finally touch my hair after 10 mins and not get sticky fingers unlike liquid minoxidil
- Gives temporary thickening
- Works a bit as a styling agent
- Feels like it's easier to apply to the scalp, the foam feels like a bit of a lubricant gel that can glide over the scalp
- Almost no itching at all anymore. Even if there's a bit of itching it's much more bearable
- You can still use the normal minoxidil applicator with the foam. Squeeze some foam into the cap and use a hair dryer over the cap and in a few seconds u have it in liquid and u can use the applicator to suck it up.

Negave things:
- More expensive.
- Perhaps not as versatile as liquid version where u can mix it with a bunch of othet stuff.

Effectiveness:
It's too early to tell at the moment, I'll compare progress pictures in 4 months.

As a side note, since I'm growing my beard really long I thought to myself what thr heck I'll start using minoxidil on beard as well for the fun of it.
I then remembered i still have my old liquid minoxidil stash and used that instead of the foam for my beard. After just one day my neck and jawline is now sooo itchy I kept scratching my beard as if I had lice in it or something.
My plan is to use minoxidil foam for the next 4 months and if I see an improvement then move up a stronger PG free version.

I too have been having a much more positive minoxidil experience since I began supplementing the foam in for morning applications.

The liquid, with how long it took to dry and such, was causing too much of an imposition on my day to day life. Sometimes, if I had something going on in the morning, I was getting up during the night to put it on so it would dry in time...ridiculous stuff like that.

I still use the liquid at night because of the supposedly better absorption potential...wondering if it's really that much better than the foam, which I'd prefer to use all the time. I'm getting tired of it running all down my forehead and such when I apply it.

To be honest I don't find a great difference in terms of weight on hair.

I have the impression that also foam renders your hair dirty. I always try to wash my (little) hair before I go out because I don't feel clean with minoxidil on top, liquid OR foam.

In my experience, foam is useless, no results after years. Unfortunately, it's the only version I can use without getting irritations and dermatitis.

foam honestly worked a lot better for me once I started doing the following - boar bristle brush my scalp thoroughly. Apply a lot of foam all over head and rub through with fingers. Boar bristle brush thoroughly again. Run a towel over my hair to get rid of residue.
