I am 31 and have been ignoring my balding for years. from being a teenager to mid 20s I had long think amazing hair. Around 25 i noticed that my hair was getting week and whispy, I needed hairspray or product to make it look as full as it once did. And it worked! for a while. After even with all the products in the world and ignoring mirrors whenever I started to see my scalp more and more easily. in the few years I have just been keeping my hair really short and that seemed to work for a while. My balding was again out of site out of mind until last year when someone point blank just said "you have a bald spot". It felt like someone threw a spear at me and I fell off my war horse. No one noticed it except me until this point (that i knew of).
I went to a dermatologist a few weeks later because i had moles that needed to be checked (ladies). But secretly i wanted a Finasteride prescription. About one minute into my examination he said " you going bald". I was again hit with that spear but this time I had no cloths on. He wrote me a prescription and said that I could consider also minoxidil. So I immediately went to my pharmacy to get both. I also bought peanut M&Ms to dilute my obvious desperation at duane reade.
I was eager to see results immediately but knew i had to be patient. I read on here all versions of what could happen and knew if i was going to have results it would have to be patient or it wouldn't work and my penis would shrivel into a raisin. So I waited.
After 3 months of taking pictures and moving my hair around and every other day thinking that it wasn't working BAM results! kinda. Im obviously still not where I want to be but I have noticed some changes. Attached below are my results and I will posted them in order.

My hairline is a bit receded but nothing crazy or bugs me much. I would not say it has changed much but it has changed. I have gained some new full on hairs but they are kinda in front of my hairline by like a quarter inch with a trail of baby hairs that connect them. It is weird and I almost just want to pluck them. I will wait and do a full year and see what happens.
As far as side effects I have had none. The only thing i noticed is that sometimes just sometimes orgasms feel different? not bad or good. just different. Maybe it has something to do with the semen being my liquidy.
I am glad to end this on I high note. I home no one was eating yogurt while reading.
