minoxidil creates patches of dead skin, should I stop?

When I apply minoxidil, I find myself a few hours later with lots of dead skin on the scalp. Kind of patches of dead skin I don't understand why and I'm afraid it will do more harm than good. What should I do?

It's normal this isn't dead skin is just dry minoxidil because your scalp don't absorbs all the liquid so when this dry looks like dandruff
Try anti-dandruff shampoo.

The brand of minoxidil is important to know. If it’s liquid then PG can cause dandruff/dermatitis in some.
