Minoxidil Causing Rapid Aging? Any Opinion?

Read some threads here that claim minoxidil causing rapid aging, like wrinkle, dark circle under eyes... etc. Is this a truth or myth? How many people here experienced this sort of sides? Does using minoxidil foam alleviate it?

It's ture it happens when you go to bed with it on best not to use it at night if useing it only use it in the morning that's one of the reasons I won't use it and when you stop using minoxidil all the hair you gain falls out

Personally I had some facial bloating with minoxidil and I do believe that it could cause loss in collagen production. I def recommend using a trentinoin if you're worried about the sides.

Thank god that I was also on acne treatment which include trentinoin...

Start making fresh vitamin c serum, I do get bloating on my cheek bones and eyes for quite a few hours after applying, roughly 4 to 6 hours. In the morning the face is normal.

Something that I find helps in minimizing the side-effects is to use a shower cap like this for the duration of application of minoxidil, it's around 4 hours:

Once you take it off you'll notice that it's full of drops and mine isn't even as tight as the one on the photo.

I used It for about 3 weeks and had lines on my forehead like I never had before or since I stopped using it, not worth it for me having a baby face

I'm 25 so there's going to be some lines but unless your looking for them yes they have gone but when I was using minoxidil they where very clear to see, so for me it was not worth it.
