Minoxidil, can I use more than...

the amount advised - 1ml / 1 application, twice a day?

1ml is not enough for me (temples, crown) - 1.5 should be fine (3ml daily).

Good / bad idea?

You will be fine as long as you hear doesnt race and you face becomes flush.

I usually use about 1.25 each application as I tend to want to add a little extra to the temple area.

Ive ready on the forums alot of people go over. Plus they sell it in stronger formulas than the standard 5%.

Sometimes I use up to 2 ml in one application of 15% minoxidil (although I'm sure some of it gets stuck in my hair).

I used up to 4 droppers of 5% at times to get good coverage and I've used
2 droppers of 15%. The only downside(other than cost) is side-effects with that much 15%... shortness of breath and heart palpitations.

I'm afraid of skin irritation from increased amount of alcohol (more minoxidil = more alc). Anyone experienced any side effects when using more that 2ml of minoxidil a day?

Some people have reported increase heart beat and flushness. Honestly you wont know till you try it.

I used 2ml last night of 6% plus last night with out any sides. But Im sure if i was using 15% I would of def probably felt something.

I use 2 full droppers of Kirklands, daily.

I use 1ML of 15% daily.

I had some skin irritation but after I starting using emu oil it
was minimal. But I was also using retin A and nizoral at the same time.

I'm using 5% solution and going to increase amount gradually to 1.5 ml per application (2 times a day).

I found that increasing the ammount per application can cause shedding.

What I do is I use 1ml 5% am and pm, then I use .5ml mid day
