Hi

I think its hard to say. To me, it looks like a bit of both. Like, I think I can see some new growth, but also on the whole it seems a little thinner to me.

But I guess this is what I'd expect after 2 months? I dont know, I've only been on Rogaine for 1 1/2 weeks. But I suppose after a couple of months I dont expect much change...? Hair grows very little in 2 months, and theres an initial shed, so........ I kind of feel like I won't really assess whats happening to my hair until the 5-6 month mark (and I got some "toppik" to sprinkle on my head in case I wake up one morning with a massive shed, LOL). Anyway I'd be interested for the more Experienced here to chime in.

Wow, your hair is almost a mirror image of mine in terms of apparent texture, thickness, length, and temple recession, though I can't speak for the vertex areas based on your photos. I have been seriously considering beginning minoxidil myself recently, and would like to know what degree of initial shedding (if any) you have experienced thus far? Also, to what areas of your scalp do you apply? Hairline only? Thanks in advance

I notice some improvement also I see some peach fuzz along the hairline. Minoxidil is a very effective option for those who tend to lose their hair slowly and this is from personal experience. I have been on it for the last six years and have pretty much retained whatever I had when I started on top of strengthening some of the follicles on the frontal region.

mostly just the hairline, I do put it on the crown, but it's almost unnecessary at this point I just do it for precaution. I have experienced a bit of shedding , it's calm down a lot though. But I've made this thread to see if it looks better or worse

In rare circumstances can Rogaine actually fill in a temple with hair that will grow and look healthy as well as thick

I cannot judge the images just by watching your present condition..so send your past pictures.

these are my oldest pictures looking at my hairline, they're not done properly with Lighting. Have to get others to do it as I am paralyzed unfortunately. Which Is apparent in these pictures if you're wondering

This was before I started using Rogaine religiously maybe put it once a night I stopped on and off Probably 5 to 6 months ago

Are you using the photos you quoted or the photos I posted yesterday with my hair wet combed back? Thank you either way very encouraging. I don't put minoxidil everywhere I put ramatroban on the entire scale though , I do have the itch unfortunately my dad is bald along with all but one of my uncles .

image.jpegimage.jpeg so the first picture I had been using Rogaine religiously twice a day for about two months, and off and on for quite some time before that when I took it October of last yearyou can see that I had regrowth! Around that time I started using Ramatroban on the entire scalp and I got lazy with rogaine sometimes completely forgetting about it but usually putting it on at least once a day at night. So the second picture was three months of being like that, taken last December Needless to say you can see that those new hairs don't seem as visible, ( mind you my hair is wet in the second picture, where the first is dry )... Here is a photo ( all of these on my right temple my worst area ) that I took yesterday after shower it's been four months since that good photo in October and like I said I've been lazy with applying rogaine c only getting one application a dayimage.jpeg

Xpretty obvious difference, in just over two months. from my measurements eyebrow to temple peak it's the same! But obviously there is thinning!c so my question is could this have happened because I stopped using it religiously twice a day is that seem to be showing improvements relatively quickly. I'm also still useing ramatroban once a day from iron Dragon, when I apply this I do notice it stops the itch, I take that as an indication it's working. But could it also be a culprit. I'm thinking I should start applying the Rogaine ctwice a day again, but I also don't want to get to reliant on it in case I have to stop
