minoxidil and the heart

I'm now using 5% minoxidil for about 2 weeks? I think but feel nothing bad with my heart. Just do some exercise dude! unk:

Some people get side effects because they are hyper sensitive or they
simply overriding it.
If topical minoxidil was really dangerous companies like Rogaine or Kirkland
would get sued all the times. Lawiers would be all over them.

If you get bad side effects just lower the dissage and if that wont help
discontinue it.

Exactly correct. Some people are hypersensative to minoxidil. Just like some people have reactions to many different types of drugs. And yes, minoxidil is a drug. So, individuals can react badly to it. But for most people there is no problem with using it, as long as they aren't dumping way more than the recommended dosage on their heads, or using extremely high percentage minoxidil (which have not been tested by the FDA). Use it as recommended on the box and you should be fine. If you are one of the people that can't tolerate minoxidil for whatever reason, well you probably need to look for an alternative.

Oh good grief. What an asinine statement. Not everyone gets an "allergic reacktion" from using minoxidil. You obviously have serious issues using minoxidil and finasteride. Not all hair loss products are dangerous. Any drug can affect someone badly if one has a sensitivity to it. Some people have a sensitivity to common antibiotics. Doesn't mean it's like that for everyone. Everyone's body chemistry is a little different.

Whatever. I get a decent amount of exercise and still wouldn't ever use minoxidil again. I would rather suffer potential side effects with dutasteride as my sex drive doesn't mean much at all to me compared to a healthy heart.

If your heart is sensitive to hormonal changes then it is a possibility. I don't seem to have a problem with finasteride yet.

And I hadn't read anything about that. I just noticed my heart beating HARD, HEAVY, CRAZY, sometimes FAST. It was crazy!

Oh and it wasn't just overuse. I tried it on just the temples and nape. Same symptons just shortened duration.

How much are you using? And why are you applying to your temples? When you clearly are not meant to do this, I just don't get people that are experiencing side effects who are over applying it. I read one guy on here who was like 'Yeah I apply it after the shower, I know you are not meant to be but it doesn't say exactly why you aren't meant to, so I do it anyway'.

I have yet to try minoxidil so I can't judge, but some poeple are just so stupid, over apply it and then wonder why they get sides.

it's like a minefield out there, I can't take finasteride so you only have Regaine open to you, If you can't take either what do you do??
