Am I wasting my time by applying rogaine if I am going to sweat 14-30 mins later the application? I really can't help the sweating btw (gotta walk to work and it's terribly hot in here)

i wouldn't apply it if you'll be sweating heavily within 30-60 mins of applying it. it'll still work, but see below. sweat might actually increase minoxidil absorption too.. it can be a good or bad thing.

the minoxidil absorbs pretty quick and you'll still get it into your scalp within that time, but some of the minoxidil will mix with the sweat and drip into your face, etc.. might get some irritation or hair growing where you don't want it..

seriously dudes, just don't apply this stuff if you're going to be sweating like a dog and it's 100F out. you don't want to get this stuff on your face.. the sweat+minoxidil WILL cause irritations. get some of it on your eye, you'll see..

i mean do you not care if it gets on your face with sweat? if not then go right ahead and apply the minoxidil, it will just be as effective if that is what you're worried about.

One of the reasons I want to drop minoxidil (other than it isn't stopping the balding, just maiking hair darker).

I live in a humid place and wear a hat most days. There is extra dark hair growing around my eyes, eyebrows etc.

**Dilemma, does this extra hair go away If I stop????***

Wear a headband on your way to work, or get a buzz cut. Won't stop the sweat but will make the minoxidil sink in quicker I assume.
