minoxidil and finasteride, 1 year, no results

for about 2 years ago a started on minoxidil and it helped me alot. After some couble of month I started to loose hair again and it got worse, so I stopped some while.
For about a year ago I started again on minoxidil, and added some finasteride, but the minoxidil is apperently not affective on me anymore, and I haven't seen any results wet with the finasteride.
Do you have ANY ideas to what to do next? am killing my self because of my hairloss.

I've never heard of minoxidil working for one year and then stopping...Are you sure that was not just a shed?

You said your hair got worse after a year, for how long did it shed before you stopped?

You know sheds happen in a cycle, after a shed your hair grows back stronger and thicker.

It was not just a shed, because it lasted for over a year, and the minoxidil just began to make a layer on my scalp, like it wasn't active anymore. And then I stopped.

Now I only take finpecia, wich I have been taken for nearly a year, some month after the shedding. But I cant see any results :s?
I really need some advice for what to do now
