minoxidil and dry skin! peeling!!! Please help!!

Hi All,

i think around 6 months into minoxidil!! i am seeing results!!! :jump: lots and lots of tiny hair!! they were peach like without any color initially, now they are black, but still about an inch! not longer... the problem i have is in my temples where i apply minoxidil, my skin gets really dry and almost peels off!!!! It looks bad!! people think its horrible case of dandruff!! it looks better if i just wet them with some water...

-How do i get rid of the dry skin peeling due to minoxidil? i am sure this is not dandruff coz this happens only in my temples where i apply minoxidil.
-Due to the dry scalp, some of my baby hair grown from minoxidil keeps falling how do i stop this?
-Will xandrox 15+ help me more if 5% minoxidil is already giving me some results?

I had this problem too. Add nizoral shampoo, its meant to eliminate dry scalp and infections in your scalp. Alternativelly you can switch to xandrox 5% no ppg minoxidil. It wont dry your scalp like regular 5% minoxidil.
