Minoxidil And Diffusing Spreading Out

I am most likely a Norwood 5 or 6 with much thining on top. I use about 1 and a half ml twice a day. I usually try to make small drops all over the top of my scalp and lightly rub it in with my forefinger. I read in a old post in here that you dont need to spread it around. That if you just drop the whole 1 ml in one spot that it soaks into the skin and diffuses and spreads all over. Whats the truth?

Massage it in. It says this on the directions.
