minoxidil 5% foam question

Hi there

I have started Tugain foam 5% (minoxidil 5% foam) after been on liquid 3% minoxidil. I had an assumption that foam is much easier to apply and use and dries out quickly.

But my experience has been quite different. I take the foam on the fingers and apply on hairline and it gets converted to liquid. But, after a while, it again gets converted into a creamy white paste and all my hairline is covered into this white paste.

Can someone tell me if this is the way it turns out to be ? I switched to the foam so that I can apply it in the morning and be at work as well.

Does it always turn into white cream after 10-15 minutes of application ?

So how does it look when it is there on your hairline ? In liquid form ? Just as minoxidil liquid looks like ?

This is how I use. Shake the bottle and get the foam out and rub it between my hands and it turns into liquid (not greasy at all..water-like consistency) then apply it to scalp. no white residue at all..
