Minoxidil 5% - decision for a lifetime?

Hello everyone,

I am currently thinking about taking Kirkland Minoxidil 5% for the first time and I am wandering the following: if I start taking it and my hair grows back in the receiding areas, does that mean I will have to take for the rest of my life to avoid it falling out again? Or once the hair has grown back, I can stop taking the Minoxidil without losing the gains?

Thankful for anyone willing to share their experiences and knowledge on the topic.
